What can be used to tie plants to rocks?

I have used rubber bands in the past, just make sure tehy arn't too tight or they end up cutting through the roots of the plant. Also sewing cotton is also good as you can just leave it tied there and it will break down, no need to cut it off later.
When I propigated corals i used super glue gel to stick the corals to rocks not sure it it would do any harm to the plant or suitable for freshwater but might be another option

rubber bands work well for me, by the time it breaks the plant is stuck to the wood

If using superglue - get the gel one, much easier to use and less chances of gluing your fingers to the rock and plant to your forehead
