my new frysaver water goes down through the sponges and up the tube, and because its sealed it will stay full of water during water changes. i would have liked to use plexiglass but i dont have a table router so a beefy 6mm glass fry saver it was

the base is 100x100 and 300 tall including the pipe that sticks out, i cut a slit in the top sponge that a syringe can be inserted through but it works better just sticking it down the side of the sponge, the slit closes itself back up its not my idea, stumbled across this vid last night and thought i'd give it a go www.youtube.com/watch?v=p_nnF-bcE7c skip to the end to see it in action would like to have used thicker sponge but this is all i had turns out your old pipes came in handy after all mitch
